As a successful entrepreneur, Valya co-owned TANK Worldwide, which was acquired by WPP/Grey Group. With its year-over-year, double-digit growth, TANK was heralded as one of the fastest-growing agencies.
In her role as Chief Strategy Officer, she designed and honed ThinkTANK, the transformational planning process that significantly contributed to the agency’s success, and that of its global clients.
To prepare for this consultancy journey with a newly sharpened perspective and to evolve her transformative planning process, Valya has been diving deep into her passions for neuroscience, innovation, and art.
She has mastered neuroscience for business at Wharton, leveraged AI for business strategy at MIT/ Sloan and Northwestern/ Kellogg, and explored creative thinking in fine arts through numerous courses taught by professional artists.
Drawing on over 30 years of experience across client, agency, and consulting roles, Valya has successfully led strategic initiatives in diverse sectors including Health, Beauty, Technology, Telecommunications, Financial Services, Automotive, Retail, Travel, Government, and Not-for-Profit.

Most recently, Laura was a trusted advisor to the C-suite executives at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC), Pfizer Consumer Healthcare, and GSK.
Her healthcare expertise also spans retail pharmacy (Walgreens, Boots), health insurance (Aetna), OTC and Rx products, and emerging health technology.

In his role as Chief Commercial Officer at TANK Worldwide/WPP/Grey Health, Thomas led the company through five consecutive years of high growth, forging strong partnerships with industry giants like Eli Lilly, GSK, and Pfizer. Thomas is no stranger to navigating complexity. His specialty lies in creating and leading strategies within highly regulated industries, particularly in Health and Government.
He also brings deep expertise in tech and digital transformation, passionately leading clients and their teams through complex, multi-step projects. Thomas has recently spearheaded AI initiatives for Shingrix US (GSK) and completed the AI Strategies for Growth program at Northwestern/Kellogg School of Management. He was also at the leading front of digital marketing transformation for brands like P&G’s Swiffer (EMEA) and Carnival’s Costa Cruises (EMEA) helping teams navigate the shift to digital and social always-on strategies.
